This strategy of preservation is not limited to City-owned trees. Trees on your property and yard are a cricual part of the City of Mandurah's environment and contribute to local biodiversity and health of the surrounds.
To allow this strategy to full take effect and impove our city, permission must be sought out before many tree services can take place. Tree topping, tree lopping, tree removal, pruning and moving etc.. without a permit is limited to tree's below 3m tall. Trees about 3 meters must first establish council approbval before any significant works are done to them, when located within the tree preservation areas.
